The "P" in Psophía stands for Paloma Vázquez de Castro, the brand's creative director and co-founder. Paloma previously co-founded the brand Hoss Intropia in 1994, in the pre-internet era, when designs were discussed in the margins of faxes. She remained there until 2016.

It is then that Psophía emerges, as the most exciting way of not assuming other people's histories, of being the owner of her time and her work, of her successes and her mistakes.

Psophía was born from the firm decision to create its own ready-to-wear women's brand. Although the project started from scratch, it is backed by a wealth of experience accumulated over the years. Behind Psophía is a highly qualified team with thousands of shared experiences in the fashion industry, who have worked tirelessly to position and lead brands.

So many hours and so many years working side by side have been essential for the Psophía team to understand each other with a single gesture, to know what they want (and what they don't), and to always work with their feet on the ground, their minds on the future and their enthusiasm intact, undisturbed by any challenges that may arise.
